Our whole family loved staying at Salatoo's Mango Garden, very restful and easygoing, lush and green beside the Nile in Garb Aswan. The Nubial style accommodation was beautiful and very comfortable, breakfasts amazing, wonderful temple and mountain tombs within walking distance and a felucca journey with an overnight sleepover on our continuing journey down the Nile to Kom Ombi. We were able to visit east bank Aswan and Elephantine island easily in the Mango Garden boat and there is also a passenger ferry close by. The farm is run as a community by a group of family and friends who did so much to make us feel at home and we especially appreciated our time spent with Mohammed who was a great boatman and guide.Thankyou Salatoo, long may you continue to develop your own special brand of welcoming eco tourism. With love from us all

I spent a few days at this beautiful guest house, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The place is nestled right in the middle of nature, on the banks of the Nile — peaceful, authentic, and full of charm. You wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the river. Salato and his family were incredibly kind and friendly; they made me feel like family. Everything was done with care and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is calm and inspiring, perfect for anyone looking to disconnect, relax, and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone who appreciates simplicity, comfort, and real human warmth. I can’t wait to go back!

We spent a few days eating and resting in this peaceful oasis. After visiting many places in Egypt, I can truly say this is one of the best places you could end up. Salato and his community are pure love — they welcome you with open arms, hospitality, and kindness, and they help you with anything you need.
The food is nourishing and delicious, all freshly harvested from the garden. The space is beautiful and relaxing, surrounded by birds, flowers, and the soothing sound of the river. The company is wonderful, with cozy gatherings around the fire, drinking tea together.
I am deeply grateful to have spent time here.

Mango Tree Gardens – A Beautiful Place by the Nile
We stayed at Mango Tree Gardens for four nights, and it was amazing! The place is very beautiful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The location by the Nile is so peaceful and calming.
The food was incredible – very, very, very delicious. We enjoyed every meal! The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The staff were so kind, helpful, and friendly.
We want to say a big thank you to everyone at Mango Tree Gardens. It was an unforgettable stay, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience!

Amazing place to stay!
Salatos Mango Garden was by far my favorite place while traveling through Egypt. My girlfriend and I loved the place, the service, and the staff so much that we ended up staying longer than originally planned. Salatos and his team took us to wonderful places and introduced us to the Nubian culture. We can highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys an authentic, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by lovely people 🫶🌿

This was absolutely a magical experience!! I felt as though I was visiting family! The love and sense of community here was beyond my expectations!! The Nubian knowledge shared by Salatoo was nothing found in books, but actual truth from a culture so diverse and revered. Thank you to the entire family at Salatoo's Mango Garden!! You've made my Egyptian trip unforgettable.

If you are looking for a farm stay or eco friendly place or if you are an animal lover, then this is definitely your right place to go!
Very helpful and friendly family and crew, hosts you in a river front farm, where you have couple of setting areas around fire or under mango trees, and even Infront of the river directly...
Walking on the river bank between birds , cows and donkeys was a different experience.
Hints:
- you need to cross to the west side of the river with a local ferry service, cheap but "very local", then you need to take a toktok from the ferry dock to the facility (No taxi or Uber at this area. But! You still can arrange your direct privet transportation by boat from the city to the facility by contacting them ahead.
- There are not many options for restaurants at this area, but you still can book your local dishes at the facility or take your meal at the city.
Thanks Belal for the coordinations, Amira for the great food (specially the Taamia), Mango and keshra for being friendly and playful dogs 🐕 😀
Don't expect luxurious beds or facilities, just the pair basic stuff that you need to have a good shower and sleep.

Part of the Nubian ecosystem, at one with the land, instantly at home. A very peaceful place to unwind with a swim in the Nile, walk amongst the trees and the greenery with beautiful animals and see the desert expanding over the horizon. I’ll be back to see the hibiscus in bloom. Thank you to Salatoo and fam

Fünf Sterne in Allen Kategorien.

Amazing place with the best people.
If you like peace and quiet that’s the best choice for you.
It is at the west side of Aswan city in a traditional Nubian village
You go with the local ferry from the dock at the east side.
Nice view of the Nile river.
Salatoo the owner is one of a kind with a big heart.
Hope to come back again soon

If you visit Egypt you must come to Salato’s mango garden. It’s not the ultra fancy hotel, it’s beautiful farm full of greenery and animals and the most beautiful people in the world. Always learning new hand crafts and fresh morning baking for breakfast

The Place is Amazing, located in the west of Aswan, west side of the Nile River, where the Nubian village is.
Salato is the owner of the place, with his family.
Variety of accommodations found like rooms with beds for single or couples, tents and bungalows riggt infront of the Nile River.
~ Bishoy T
A very peaceful stay. The staff is as chill as bob marley and it is very one love one family vibes. But since it is very very chill and laidback, be careful when planning with them if you’re on a tight schedule. The food is really good and overall it was a nice experience.

Didn't stay, it looks a little more intrepid than my normal haunt. But they did give us a delightful chai bil narnaia (tea + mint) and a relaxing place to sit for half an hour. Mahmoud is a gracious host and very chilled and welcoming. A fitting pit stop on a delightful West bank wander

Salatoo's mango camp, is a haven located in west Aswan. The owner and hosts are amazing. The place serves fresh picked food from the farm. It is right on the Nile, full of trees and greenery, a beautiful place to visit.

We had an amazing stay here :) Very generous and hospitable people, the place itself is clean and so beautiful <3 If you are in Aswan and want to escape the loud and blazingly hot city, this is your place to stay.
